Hey Sylvia,Needless to say I was suspicious. My first thought was that this was somebody trying to get me to follow a link to confirm an active email address, or to provide private information. So I didn't follow the link. But sure enough I couldn't log into Facebook. My password had in fact been reset.

I went through the forgot password steps to get back in. Then I wrote this invitation and was blocked from posting. Content Rejected! Can you see anything nasty in this invitation?!
What's going on? Why is Facebook picking on me?
I think this is merely a power issue, with them reminding you who owns the walled garden and who gets to use it for "free."

Good point, Jeffrey. No recourse at all! I find it interesting how little patience I have for these little nuisances. Way back when there were fewer choices and more tolerance. Now with so many options, and from companies with good honest practices, it's easier to move on to where you feel comfortable.
ReplyDeleteThe blocked message is weird. Could it be because there was a tiny url link in there? Some kind of url redirection not allowed by Facebook?
